Healing Herbs for Acid Reflux

  • Dried lemon balm leaves  
  • Dried chamomile flowers

  • Honey (optional)
  • Coffee mugs 
  • Boiling water 

o   1    Drink this tea with large meals to prevent acid reflux.  Combine ½ tsp. each dried peppermint leaves and lemon balm leaves. Place herbs in a coffee mug and cover with 8 oz. boiling water. Allow the mixture to steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain the liquid into a clean coffee mug.

o   2    Drink this anytime acid reflux symptoms begin.  Add 1 tsp. chamomile flowers to a coffee mug. Pour 8 oz. boiling water over the flowers. Allow the mixture to steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
